Schladming is Styria's best-known ski resort, and in the season after the high-profile Alpine Skiing World Championships, Schladming is already preparing for the 2015 World Skiing and Freestyle Championships, the 2016 World Skiing Championships and the 2017 Special Olympics.
Already this winter, more precisely between February 26 and March 2, the world championship in ski bobsled will be held in Spital na Semmering/Stuhleck. Because it is Schladming still in the spirit of the world championship, we can feel like world champions ourselves with the offer "in the footsteps of world champions". It is an unusual experience for small groups. As part of this tour, guests follow the tracks of the World Alpine Skiing Championship Schladming 2013, on the competition tracks of the Four Mountain Cable Car and ski where Marcel Hirscher and the other competitors skied the year before.
Three action full days accompanied by the Olympic medalist in Schladming, Michael Tritscher, who knows all the stories and details, are thus guaranteed. We will see all the skiing cream again gathered in Schladming on January 28 for the legendary night slalom for men. And so that we don't just talk about alpine skiing, good news comes from Ramsau on the Dachstein. New ones Nordic X-Park brings a jump into the world of cross-country skiing - for both beginners and professionals, for children and adults. These are fun tracks on which four people can run at the same time. The park lies on a fenced training ground inside the cross-country stadium for the World Championships in Ramsau am Dachstein. Basically, cross-country skiing on a fun slope is not about "meters and seconds" as in alpine skiing, and not about "style and action" as in freestyle. It's all about one thing – having fun while moving.
