Scroogled - Microsoft's anti-Google campaign

"Stay calm while we steal your data" is one of the slogans of the anti-Google advertising campaign. Microsoft presented a new collection in the "Scroogled" category in its online store.

Such an attack on Google it is not new from the site Microsoft. Despite the millions spent Bing search engine and email service Outlook are not achieving the success of Google and with the intention of accompanying this, they hired themselves Mark Penn, known as Bill and Hilary Clinton's political campaign manager. They started very aggressively and charged Google hacking into private messages sent via Gmail and fraudulent display of search results for paid products and created a website "Scroll View", where all anti-Google ads are posted.

However, "reading" your emails is not a secret. Google introduced keyword-based ad automation back in 2004. This does not mean that someone is sitting in the secret offices of Google and reading your e-mails, but based on the most frequently used words, it shows you those customized ads when you visit websites that use Google AdSense. Microsoft uses a similar technique to display ads, but they are based on your demographic information that you enter when you activate your user account. This is how they justify their search engine as a more honest way to browse.

Basically, the display of ads from both sides is the same. Both providers screen their users and send "personalized" ads, both offer the option to opt out of such ads, and do not share personal information with advertisers. So this "war" for Internet supremacy could go on for a long time.
