The portable drive with the full name Seagate GoFlex Satellite is (initially) produced and intended primarily for Apple portable devices such as iPod, iPad, MacBook... With built-in wireless support for the 802.11 b/g/n standard, it is virtually connectable to all other devices that have a Wi-Fi connection. The range of the wireless connection is just under 10 meters, which is more than enough. Of course, connectivity is not limited to "air", as it supports both USB 3.0, FireWire and eSata connections. The capacity of a portable hard disk is an average of 500 GB. We will be more pleased with the durability of the battery, which has to be recharged in five hours at full load, and lasts five times longer (25 hours) in standby mode.
