Self-inflating parasol

Design Studio Toer has created a parasol that will facilitate all our lounging in the hot sun when we don't feel like lifting a finger. The miraculous Cumulus Parasol opens (or inflates) by itself!

The first sunny days have already happily awakened us from winter sleep, but soon they will become carefree hot. Dutch designers from Studio Toer thus offering an advanced solution of the Cumulus Parasol umbrella with a function self-opening when the first rays of the sun shine.

With help energy from solar cells, placed on top, is triggered fan, which slowly inflates the fabric of the sunshade. "Cloudy" structure it only needs 20 seconds, to unfold to its full size. It also does not contain an iron frame, which is its shape aerodynamic and therefore excellent even in windy weather. Silicone coating prevents the penetration of rain, nylon goods and take care of lightness, but at the same time extremely durable and resistance of the shade.

An unusual shape ti cumulus cloud, from which the extraordinary design also received its name, thus offers two-meter shelter from strong sunlight or summer showers. When you no longer need it, simply turn off the shade manually or wait for it to turn off in the absence of sunlight, it closes on its own. Cumulus Parasol will also be presented at this year's event Milan Design Week.
