She made 25 thousand paper flowers and created this one!

An installation of 25 thousand paper flowers

More than 25,000 colorful paper flowers adorn the 6-meter-high atrium of a shopping mall in Omotesando, Tokyo. The visually stunning scene is part of the latest installation by French-born Emmanuelle Moureaux, who created this vibrant work as part of the Setting the Future in Motion exhibition.

When visitors descend into spiral atrium, immerse themselves in the colorful world created by the artist Emmanuelle Moureaux. This otherwise empty space has become a secret garden where it is now 'raining' flowers in 100 different colors. With the help of special technology, Emmanuelle installed small fans on top of each vertical set of paper flowers, which make the whole installation slowly rotates and changes shades.

The installation is a multifaceted work: it starts with the hand-made paper flowers, their attachment and the color scale. With quantity and colors, a seemingly simple concept turns into a real work of art with the greatest possible effect.
