On September 29 and 30 and October 1, the evenings in the Gallus hall of Cankarjev dom will be marked by the stomping of horse hooves and flamenco. A show with horses is coming to the Ljubljana stage: Golgotha.
French director and actor Bartabas is a pioneer in the field of discovering new theater genres, and at the same time a great fighter for animal rights. The Golgotha performance, in which he collaborates with flamenco star Andrés Marín, is a sensual and temperamental eulogy to the beauty of the horse's and man's body.

Bartabas drew inspiration for the performance from Spanish Baroque painting and the mystical liturgical motets of the Spanish Renaissance composer Tomás Luis de Victoria. A unique event that our capital has never experienced before will be a combination of passionate dance, temperamental sensuality and elegance of horses.
