Our largest ski center is also the most famous internationally, mainly thanks to the World Cup matches.
Also this year, on March 8 and 9, the best skiers will compete in slalom and giant slalom on the Vitranka slope. Skiers love Kranjska Gora mainly because of the diverse terrains that provide excellent skiing for both beginners and top skiers. Ski equipment and tracks are located on the slopes of Vitranc from Kranjska Gora to Planica at an altitude of 800 to 1,215 meters above sea level. Thirteen lifts and five chairlifts, i.e. as many as 18 ski runs of varying technical difficulty, ensure complete enjoyment.
