Škoda wants to prove to the world that it is far from being just the "S-Budget" brand from Volkswagen. Will the Czechs add a crossover to their station wagon in the future? The Škoda Vision E Coupe Crossover Concept is definitely a vehicle that you would like to have in your garage.
Sports utility vehicle to every garage? One after the other, car brands are adding to their driver fleet with crossbreeds. The Czech Republic is also apparently adding its own to its ranks Too bad, which presented the concept at the Shanghai Auto Show Skoda Vision E Coupe Crossover.
Electric sports crossover with coupe features and panoramic roof with solar panels does not necessarily mean the announcement of a serial crossover, which is why Škoda is announcing until 2025 five electrified vehicles. The first one will be introduced in 2020, shortly after it arrives Škoda Superb as plug-in hybrid. The 'Shanghai' concept is adorned with four individually and electronically adjustable seats, and each passenger has their own infotainment system and wireless charger in the door. Solar panels on the roof are responsible for powering the air system that cools the passenger compartment when the car is exposed to the sun (heated interior will therefore soon be a thing of the past). A lithium-ion battery ensures autonomy with a 500-kilometer range on charging. An electric motor can do it 301 hp (225 kW) and top speed 180 km/h.

The Škoda Vision E Coupe Crossover Concept has a built-in the third level of autonomous driving (out of the planned five), which means that the driver can still drive alone, but otherwise the car is capable of independent driving in crowds and on highways, hands-free parking and certain other maneuvers. Just like the concept Audi E-tron Sportback the Czechs also gave emphasis on the use of LED lights.
