If you have or will go to the Croatian coast this year, then you must visit the spectacular Skywalk on the Biokovo mountain range, which lies above Makarska. She will not leave you indifferent!
Skywalk, a viewing platform in the shape of a horseshoe, is located on the edge of a cliff, in the area of Ravna Vlaška in the southwestern part of the Biokovo nature park. 1,288 meters above the precipice you will have the opportunity to enjoy the breathtaking view of the Makarska Riviera and the islands, and the glass floor will give you the feeling that you are walking among the clouds.
It was also built as part of the viewing platform geological column, this is a 3D view of the cross-section of the rock formations that form the Biokovo area from its creation to the present day, with a geological time table and a description of the age and types of rocks.
You can access the Heavenly Promenade via the local road that leads from the reception to the Biokovo Nature Park to the highest peak, Sv. Jurija, which lies at an altitude of 1,762 meters above sea level. As an interesting point, we should add that this the highest asphalted road in Croatia.
