SladoLent 2019: a promenade of top cuisine

When does SladoLent 2019 take place? The Drava Promenade of the Lent Festival will host SladoLent for the ninth time. The promenade of top Slovenian cuisine has been held since 2011, and during the Lent Festival, it takes place every evening in three open kitchens along the Drava.

SladoLent 2019 will be held from June 21 to 29, with 31 Slovenian chefs, 67 chefs and 15 winemakers. You will be able to try it out in a super short time dishes from top chefs, and that for 4 euros.

One of the best Slovenian chefs Janez Bratovž (JB restaurant) is at SladoLent every year because: "... because it's a special experience, because in my restaurant I can't have that kind of contact with the guests, but here I cook and chat with them at the same time, the atmosphere is really special, we all enjoy it, the guests in the food, we guests”. For the best Maribor chef David Vraček (MAK Restaurant) and SladoLent is "... rock and roll, because the best come, who put a lot of effort, knowledge, skill, imagination, creativity into these small dishes, and this happens in the middle of Maribor, among the crowd who go to Lent and try and enjoy all this."
