Space tourism has long ceased to be science fiction. The first tourists in space had to allocate 20 to 40 million US dollars for a trip to orbit. In 2014, however, spaceflight became much more affordable, landing somewhere between $200,000 and $250,000. Just so much that we can now allow ourselves to dream while awake.
What we earthlings dream about, when we dream of space travel, the results of an online survey speak: 70 % respondents would like to stay in space for two weeks or less; in addition, 88 % would like to walk in space outside the ship and 21 % respondents would like a hotel or space station in space. Right. As far as Slovenians are concerned, we are known anyway as lovers of adventure and adrenaline. And a universe of new possibilities has opened up for us now that Vikinglotto has arrived in Slovenia. Let's go, shall we?
Preparations for a space flight have already begun in Slovenia. Space Training Machine, which is very similar to a machine for preparing astronauts for living in weightless space, was placed near the railway station. He made it possible for everyone who wanted it to have a unique experience. And this one charmed many. Photos of flying space enthusiasts with the caption "Be-the-next-winning-space-tourist" flooded social networks.
Vikinglotto is here - choose which type of winner you want to be!
Happy training on the space training machine is just one of the events accompanying the entry and beginnings of Vikinglott in Slovenia. The first draw in the new game, in which the Lottery of Slovenia will also participate, will take place this Wednesday, November 15, when in line for Viking 35 million euros. We really cannot know yet whether the first Slovenian Vikinglotto winner will be able to afford a trip to space or something else. You can follow Vikinglotto's shenanigans, news and draws on Vikinglotto's FB page and vikinglotto.si.
Vikinglotto is a game of chance that since 1993 Norwegians, Swedes, Danes, Icelanders, Finns, Lithuanians, Latvians and Estonians play.
The draws take place every Wednesday evening in Norway, with a minimum of €3 and a maximum of €35 million in the Viking main prize pool each week.
