Wondering where to go to the pool on hot summer days? Also because we will certainly spend some of the summer at home. But to avoid the heat and boredom, we can cool off right in the middle of the city. Urban beaches and Slovenian city swimming pools are already waiting for us, and only a few days separate us from the first splash.
So where to the pool? We have selected some urban swimming pools in the vicinity of city centers that allow you to refresh yourself on summer days. A good idea ya all days when the temperature rises above 25 degrees Celsius!

The Ljubljana swimming pool, which has been the best swimming pool in Slovenia for 10 years in a row, offers summer experiences with many water effects and refreshments on the abundant grassy areas and in the shade of tall trees. Families with children will enjoy it (children up to 1 meter have free entry), as they organize animation for children every day between 1pm and 3pm. In the mornings, there are guided exercises for the elderly at the swimming pool or in the local Befit fitness center, in the afternoons young people relax to the sounds of world music and cocktails, and for the active there are beach volleyball courts. The space is also suitable for picnics for private parties.

The beginnings of the Ilirija swimming pool date back to 1929. At the time of its opening, it was one of the most modern in Europe. The annual swimming pool reopened last year, and after a thorough renovation, you can soak in the Olympic pool with a temperature of 26 degrees Celsius. The youngest are also taken care of - a children's pool and two slides await them. Next to the swimming pool is the Retro bar, which was also completely renovated last year. A large sun terrace is also available for those who want to soak up the sun. The swimming pool opens on May 20.

The swimming pool in the pleasant green surroundings of Park Kodeljevo is near the city center. It is intended for both swimming enthusiasts and professional swimmers, i.e. all those who are loyal to the pleasures of bathing and swimming. Cooling off and recreation is possible in the Olympic pool, a large recreational pool and two children's pools. A recreational game of soccer, volleyball and badminton on the grass is provided for the company of friends. The opening of the swimming pool is scheduled for June 23.

In the urban forest Fazanerija, in a very pleasant microclimate, there is the urban swimming pool Murska Sobota, which operates from June to mid-September. Around the pool platform there are many grassy, lying areas and natural shade under the canopies of large trees. At the swimming pool, refreshment can be found in four pools: in the Olympic pool, where there is also a diving tower, a medium pool, a slide pool and a children's pool. In addition to the swimming pools, bathers also have two beach volleyball courts, a badminton net, a children's playground for the youngest, gym equipment for teenagers and combined equipment for the youngest, as well as catering options.

The swimming pool has a long tradition and a versatile offer. Only 15 minutes from Ljubljana, there is a large outdoor swimming pool where, in addition to the exuberant holiday pleasure, recreational swimming is also possible in 5 swimming lanes. A linear slide is also installed for the most energetic. Two children's pools are intended for the youngest splashers. During the season, you can refresh yourself in the seasonal kitchen, and the cafe is open all year round with an offer of sweets and snacks. For children, there is a nice children's playground called Polžja híšica, for closed companies they organize receptions, parties or animation for children, and the space can also be rented for a private party or celebration.
