The Olympic Games are approaching at the speed of light, which means a lot of such events for sports fans. Before leaving for Soča, the national team will present themselves to the media and fans, who will, among other things, write February 3, when it will be Slovenian hockey day, in their calendars.
The Hockey Federation of Slovenia (HZS) will, in cooperation with the Olympic Committee of Slovenia (OKS), prepare two exhibition matches in the Tivoli Hall. The first will be between the players with the most national championship titles in independent Slovenia (according to the HZS, Ivo Jan and Robert Ciglenečki each have 11) and the most effective Slovenian players of the INL league in the 2012/13 season, as well as a showdown between the current national team and the one from Sarajevo 1984. Slovenian fans sports, they will be able to see their heroes, everyone who will be called up by coach Matjaž Kopitar for the game, except for the first star of the Slovenian team Anžet Kopitar - who will be sent directly to Soča from the NHL a few days later - see them in action.
The day will also be tinged with charity, as during the match the Slovenian national team will play in replicas of the jerseys for the Olympic Games, which fans can then sign and buy for charity.
