Lacrosse is considered a relatively unknown sport in Slovenia, which was invented by North American natives. You could say that the sport is a mix between hockey, handball and American football. Some members of the Olimpija Lacrosse team have been playing the sport for many years. The boys invite everyone who is interested in a new challenge to join their ranks, emphasizing that lacrosse is a sport for everyone, as every position on the field is slightly different.
Lacrosse is a team sport played with a rubber ball and a long stick called a crosse or lacrosse stick. That is contact sport, which requires shields to be worn, except in the women's version. The upper part of the lacrosse stick is dressed with loose mesh, intended for catching and passing the lacrosse ball. The aim of the game is to make the ball into the opponent's goal with the help of a lacrosse stick.

Players and members of the oldest team sport Olimpija lacrosse club spent the weekend at the international tournament in Belgrade in the face of tough competition reached 3rd place and with it also his first club laurel. In the fight for third place, they beat the local Belgrade Zombies 3:2.
