We can pretend as much as we want, but it's very likely that data like the Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system, connectivity in 1001 ways (HSDPA, HSUPA, Wi-Fi b/g/b, Bluetooth 2.1…), 400 MB of internal memory that can be expanded up to 32 GB (an 8 GB card is included), a built-in camera with 5.1 mega-dots, an LED flash and the possibility of GEO-tagging, a GPS receiver/transmitter, etc., are not too impressive. Preloaded applications such as Twitter, Google Talk and GMail, Facebook, Youtube and other similar online "social networks" a little more. But the most attractive thing about the Xperia Play is undoubtedly the fact that it is actually the long-awaited "PSP Go", dressed in Sony Ericsson's mantle. A purebred smartphone combined with the noble blood of a portable gaming console. Under the sliding screen (touch-sensitive) hides an additional panel, from which we are greeted by the classic layout of the game buttons of the PSP console. There is no need to fear for the games, as cooperation has been confirmed by Electronic Arts, Gameloft and Namco Bandai, among others. SE promises to start with 50 games that will be playable on the new Xperia. There are currently three games preloaded (Asphalt 6, The Sims 3 and Tetris).
