Sony's eagle eye view

Sony's eagle eye view

For the first time in the world, a white-tailed eagle, which has been considered extinct in France for more than 50 years, descended from the top of the Eiffel Tower on September 28, 2014 and flew over the Seine to the Trocadéro Gardens.

A large crowd of people, led by his steward Jacques Olivier Travers, watched with enthusiasm stunning eagle flight, which she carried into eternity Action Cam Mini HDR-AZ1 from Sony, mounted on an eagle's back.

Jacques Olivier Travers is the manager non-profit organization FREEDOM, which works to reintroduce the white-tailed eagle to its natural habitat in the French and Swiss Alps. As an official sponsor, Sony is providing Action CamTM video cameras to help FREEDOM accurately document the flights of white-tailed eagles. With the help of the resulting images, it will be easier to study the habits of eagles and better understand how to prepare the ground for their resettlement.
