At the end of February, the Slovenian film Panika, based on the bestseller Desa Muck, will be released.
Panic is a comedy-melodrama film about "panic" women in mature years, who wants to escape the role of a mere mother, wife and housewife. Belief, suppressed, trapped in a routine forty years old, obsesses over the thought that she will never be in love again. In search of a solution, a prediction from the coffee grounds that she will meet the right man changes her life. In fulfilling the prophesied, he easily succumbs to charms family friend Mitje. For Belief love is fatal. He gets into a hot affair, puts his relationships with loved ones on the line and when he eats Mitja she gets bored, her world collapses. We follow the emotional transformation of a woman who no one notices into a woman who noticed only herself.
