Specdrum: 'tap' your melody

Specdrum: tap your own melody

Do you ever find yourself tapping your fingers on the table, sometimes to the tune playing in your head, other times to the beats rolling out of the radio speakers? All that is heard is top sound and nothing more, right? But wouldn't it be great if you could tap on any surface to elicit real melodies?

With a ring Specdrum now you can! Anything colored you touch with the ring will ring, play or clink.

All you need to do first is to download it application Specdrum to a mobile device and connect via Bluetooth to the ring or ten, if you want, because you can use that many at the same time. Then assign your instrument to each ring and the fun can begin. You can then associate the sound with the color so that the next time you for example hit red, hear the sound of keyboards. You can also connect the app with some music programs like GarageBand.

The price for the ring is said to be 33 euros, but will have to wait a little longer, as the fundraising on Kickstarter is still ongoing.
