Mercedes-Benz will present the GLC coupe SUV at the 2015 Shanghai Auto Show, a direct competitor to BMW's X4. Although it is a concept, it should be an "identical twin" of the serial vehicle in terms of design and technology. It will be available by the end of 2016 and will be very similar to the bigger brother GLE coupe (the latter will be 18 cm longer), which announced its march to the market in the end of 2015.
Mercedes-Benz GLC coupe, which will debut as a concept at the 2015 Shanghai Auto Show, will be as the seventh Mercedes SUV brought to the world once by the end of 2016. This scaled-down version of the GLE coupe borrowed the engine from the C450 AMG sport, which means it has a built-in six-cylinder biturbo engine with 267 horsepower (270 kW of power) and 520 Nm of torque. 473 centimeters long and with four seats equipped SUV will travel on 21-inch rims (tire size is 285/45 R 21), to transfer power to all four wheels (all-wheel drive 4MATIC) will be in charge automatic transmission 9G-tronic.
The power unit in the concept will not be basic (it will be shared with the C-class model), but for the AMG sport version. There will be an even worse version than this, namely the AMG GLC coupe 63 with a 4.0-liter V8 engine. It will be available as a gasoline engine, but also as a diesel engine plug-in hybrid.
