What if pencil scraps could grow into something delicious, beautiful, and fun instead of filling up with trash? In September, a somewhat unusual family arrived on the Slovenian market - this is the Sprout family of pencils that grow.
Pencils are produced from completely natural materials, their body is made from sustainably produced cedars, and they enable writing clay and graphite. At the end of the pencil we will find a capsule containing organically grown seeds. There are seven siblings in the growing pencil family, namely: basil, thyme, rosemary, sage, mint, coriander and dill. They are fun, innovative and universally useful. When we use them, we simply plant them and from them will grow our favorite herb, which will find its place in the kitchen. Pencils that grow this year were declared as "eco product" in 2013.
