If you work a lot on the go, then you are doomed to the small screen of your laptop, smartphone or tablet. Not anymore! Meet the SPUD (Arovia Spontaneous Pop-Up Display), a 24-inch folding screen that unfolds like an umbrella and can be used as a secondary or main screen.
SPUD it is foldable 24-inch screen (61 cm diagonal), which you can carry around in a bag or backpack. Excuse me? Yes, you read that right. Smartphones, tablets and laptops are convenient, but they have small screens, which can be a big minus in many, especially business situations. You have been able to handle the situation until now with portable projectors, and in contrast to those for SPUD you don't need a projection surface.
It is a combination of a projector, foldable diffuser and translucent surfaces from flexible polymers, onto which the image is projected. When folded, the SPUD does not take up any space like a slightly thicker book, it is also quite light (weighs less than a kilogram). Unfolded, it measures 53 cm in width, 28 cm in height and 36 cm in depth.

It has a projector USB and HDMI port, also supports wireless connection and interfaces Chromecast and Rook. The battery provides three hours of autonomy, and the image is the resolution 1280 x 720 pixels. On Kickstarter you can pre-order SPUD for 315 euros, which is slightly cheaper than pico projectors.
