Connoisseurs of battleships, when the name Dreadnought is mentioned, they will recall the homonymous battleship HMS Dreadnought from 1906, which represented a giant advance in the military technology of the Royal Navy at the time and surpassed all military vessels up to that time. Its successor and almost namesake is about to do the same, which its predecessor would be proud of, as it is based on the latest technology and will be made of extremely strong plastic and graphene, a form of carbon that is two hundred times stronger than steel and is considered the strongest, thinnest and the most flexible material in the world.
Dreadnought 2050 is a conceptual project battleships of the future as conceived by a group of experts united under the name Start point, for which it asked her UK Ministry of Defence. The ship will be bursting with the most advanced technology and will be made of carbon fiber honeycomb, that is, an almost transparent material graphene, and extremely strong plastics.
Dreadnought 2050 will more than justify its name with its features and continue the work it started HMS Dreadnought– that is to plow the fallow land. Therefore, graphene, a resistant plastic mass and weapons based on laser technology. However, we are talking about the vision of the warship for the year 2050. Despite the fact that it will be governed by a computer system, it will be operated on up to 50 soldiers, who will take orders from superiors and not technology.

The Dreadnought 2050 warship will no longer have heliports, but "droneports", as helicopters will be replaced by drones (which will also be there instead of masts), and the rooms from which the operations are conducted will not be decorated with screens but holograms. The ministry is expected to invest enormous sums in the project 226 million euros.
