The first edition of Pocket Bike Guides includes eight cities and helps cyclists explore the city beautifully.
The company Rapha, which otherwise deals with cycling clothes and accessories has teamed up with the publishing house Thames & Hudson, and the result of the collaboration is a beautiful stylish finish pocket cycling guides for all the main cycling cities in Europe.
Written and designed by Max Leonard and Andrew Edwards, each guide is illustrated by a local illustrator, so each guide has its own unique style. Folders are added to each booklet, so - say the creators - they are very easy to use and allow the cyclist to easily find his way around such a huge metropolis.
In its first edition, the collection of guides is dedicated to cycling in eight cities – Amsterdam, Antwerp (Ghent), Barcelona, Berlin, Copenhagen, London, Milan and Paris. For each city, the guide suggests a "day on a bike" and three versions (of different kilometer lengths) of cycling, which lead cyclists both through the strict center and through the countryside, from good cuisine to cultural and natural attractions.
