Lovers of Animateka, who usually enjoy animated films in December, this year we also got our money's worth in the summer. Between August 5 and 11, the first summer version of Animateka will take place, where all events will be held free of charge.
Every year in December, Animateka fans look forward to new animated films like little children. To make the wait for December shorter, this year, with the first edition of the Summer Animateka, we will be hanging out with animated films completely free of charge between August 5 and 11.

The Summer Animation Program is divided into three sets: film screenings, which will mostly take place on the Museum platform on Metelkova, "video mapping" (projecting selected parts of animated films with special visual effects on any surface in Ljubljana) and various creative workshops in Ljubljana's parks. As part of the main film screenings, we will be able to watch the animated films Fairytale House, The Secret of Kells, Honeyskin, The Boy and the World and Stones in My Pockets.
