Šuniko's water grove: emerald pools of water, which are attributed healing properties

Šunik's water grove, which you will find in the middle of the unspoiled nature of the Triglav National Park, in the Lepena valley, is a relaxing corner of water energies, and it is also attributed with healing properties.

If you like listening to the roaring and rushing of water, it is Šunik's water grove great place to relax. It is here that the Lepenjica stream has hollowed out just before the confluence with the Šunik stream 100 meters long and 10 meters deep troughs with colorful green pools. The magical waterfalls are at their wateriest in the spring, but in the summer, when they fall a little more leisurely, they create crystal clear pools.

The energy-rich area of Šunik's water grove, however according to some, it should also have a beneficial effect on our health and well-being and even mitigated various disease states. Bathing is not appropriate here, so the healing effect of water is said to come from the fact that our emotional system, which is in harmony with water, can at any moment call up information that is useful for the health of a person as a whole from water drops.

The source of the Lepenjica stream (also known as the Lepenjca) is situated at the end of the Lepena valley. After the first high waterfall, there are several smaller waterfalls. This picturesque corner in the pristine nature of the Triglav National Park is a popular tourist destination for people looking to relax in natural surroundings. Especially interesting is a part, where the stream carved out approximately 100 m long and up to 10 deep gorge, named Šunikov vodni gaj. How to get to Šunik water park?

An undemanding marked path leads to Šunik's water grove. There are two versions of the route. If you prefer longer walks, you can embark on a 3-kilometer long circular path that has the starting point near the Klin camp. The shorter route begins further along the road, at the sign for Šunik water grove.

The Lepenjica stream has carved gorges about 100 meters long and up to 10 meters deep with colorful green pools right before the confluence with the Šunik stream. If you like to listen to the roaring and humming of the water, then the Šunik water grove is an excellent place for relaxation. Take a moment for yourself while listening to the loud melody of the water, which echoes in the shelter of woods, and drink in the scenery of the moss covered rocks. Look into the magical waterfalls, which are rich with water in spring, while in summer, they fall somewhat more leisurely and create the most beautiful crystal clear pools.
