But it's not that simple, because we are becoming more and more demanding when it comes to finding what really interests us. This research reveals what turns us off the most on dating apps.

Lack of authenticity human contact online means that when choosing what we are interested in, we have to orientate ourselves by what kind of profile does the person have. Too often we pay attention to what other people's profiles look like, but we forget to ask ourselves what our own profile is like.

Dating app Badoo has recently performed research to what attracts users who looking for love, to like (swipe right) of a specific user. Research in which it participated 5000 users, showed interesting results.

54 % women say they don't like it (swipe left), if they see a photo of a man taken with a woman. What definitely repels them, however, are photos of men taking pictures shirtless or in the gym.

Interestingly, users of dating apps have love photos of dogs: 29 % women and 21 % men like photos with also an animal.
