Today, kids can use smartphones before they can walk, and while that's a terrible fact, it's not going to get any better. Technology will continue to penetrate every pore of our lives, so it is pointless to fight against it. If you can't beat 'em, join 'em, they say. That's exactly what they are with medical toy for balance Swingy did Spouse Popovič, both pharmacists/entrepreneurs, who made a wireless balance board from Slovenian beech wood that "forces" children to be physically active while using smartphones or tablets. There are quite a few children today immersed in screens for hours and hours, and the playgrounds are becoming more and more lonely. This means that children are also moving less and less, that is, if we do not take their fingers into account.
Regardless of whether we limit the children playing games on your phone/tablet and so on, it is becoming an integral part of life, while traditional leisure activities recede more and more into the background. With Swingy, parents will no longer feel guilty when they let their children play games on mobile devices, because they will physically active. In combination with the game Swing Pong (it was inspired by one of the first computer games, Pong, and is the work of Boža Cvetkovič from the Jožef Stefan Institute), because playing will also be a true balance training and strengthening of the muscles of the torso stabilizers, necessary for correct posture.

Urša and Niko Popovič with the Swingy balance device, they measure children, old from 4 to 12 years, because the "foot swing" lasts up to 140 kg, the toy can also be used by adults. If once the computer was an additional entertainment, today it is the main preoccupation of many children, and with the balance board it does not take away from children what they like, but wants them to combine it with something useful. An "old friend" of Kickstarter, the Slovenian team, also participated in the creation of the product Chipolo; this one made a sensor that allows the board to work wirelessly. On Kickstarter Swingy wants to raise 20,000 US dollars to further develop the game and start production, but he has time until November 26, 2015. The first package of 88 Swingys is available for 88 dollars, the second shipment of 99 for the same amount of dollars, and it will be available in regular sales in Slovenia for 99 euros.
