Ben Frost is an Australian-born composer, producer and sound artist, who after the release of the album "Theory of Machines" was mentioned by critics as a prototype of the future of modern electronic music! The tectonic and emotional power of the resulting clusters comes from the contrast between classical composing and the innovative use of deadly virtual instruments. His performances are intense and sophisticatedly brutal. The concert will be accompanied by the Serbian-American connection ViceVerse, consisting of the teams Dis-patch (Belgrade) and Communikey (Colorado) and the local collective Synaptic.

BEN FROST (Reykjavik, Iceland)

Music by Ben Frost sustaining cerebral circuits with the smoothness of classical minimalism, but at the same time ruthlessly demolishing them with intrusions of brutal punk rock and metal sawing. Pulsating guitar textures grow from nothing and coalesce into enormous forms that bypass conventional sonic conventions and flow into a field of raw mechanics. In the sound, Frost subtly explores the extreme limits of volume and intonation, which triggers a homeostatic upheaval that leads to a cathartic denouement by intertwining ambient lines.

After the first albums between 2000 and 2005 for Room40 and Architecture, he shook the world alternative with the release »Theory Of Machines” on Bedroom Community, in 2007. At the time, England's Wire referred to him as Arvo Pärt and Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails) in one. His latest album is even more resonant in the media »By The Throat” in 2009, unique in exposing elements of organic bleakness that lead to a dramatic but reassuring encounter with the dangerous unconscious.

Ben is a protégé of the legendary in 2010 and 2011 Brian Eno as part of the project "The Rolex Mentor and Protégé Arts Initiative". Together with Valgeir Sigurðsson and Nick Muhly, he runs the label and the collective Bedroom Community. He has collaborated with names such as Björk, Amiina, Tim Hecker, Machinefabriek, he makes music for film and dance, currently the most current project »Solaris", and performs in connection with Daniel Bjarnsanon and the Krakow Symphony Orchestra.

WoO (Belgrade, Serbia)

WoO is a guitarist who uses sound synthesizers and everyday electronics (mobile phones, remote controls, transistors) in his performances. We've known him since his debut »Mobi Rock" for the Slovenian label rx:tx in 2007. In sound, he intertwines analog with digital on the basis of ambient music with a wide frequency range.

D Numbers (Santa Fe, USA)

D Numbers is primarily a three-member band that combines experimental rock and minimalist techno in live performances. In addition to the joint project, each member is also an individual performer. Guitarist Ben Wright acts as We in the style of melodic tech house intertwined with IDM and jazz elements. Brian Mayhall (bassist) and Paul Feathericci (drummer) lead the Ray Charles Ives project where they explore the space of funk ambient. All of them also perform as DJs where they cover a wider spectrum of techno.
