Ombro is not an ordinary coffee table set. Their story is based on a visual, optical game that is created by two perforated surfaces that together create an optical illusion.
Overlapping patterns, fine geometric shapes and a strong graphic identity are the key elements that ensure optical illusion. The lower surface serves as a storage surface for books, magazines and other daily necessities that keep us company. The studious, young, passionate, multidisciplinary design studio consisting of Loukas Angelou and Vasso Asfi presented the Ombro table this year at the London Design Festival.
