After the animated film Frozen, another Disney animated film is coming to the cinema with a strong female character in the lead role. It sounds like Moana, named after the title character, a sea-loving Polynesian girl who is the daughter of a sailor and embarks on an epic adventure with a demigod voiced by Dwayne Johnson.

You've probably already heard that Baywatch, the cult series that made David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson famous in the 90s, will get a movie version in 2017. The title character, Mitch Buchannon, will be played by none other than Dwayne Johnson - The Rock (The Fast and the Furious), and the other girl magnet will be Zac Efron (Grandpa Runaways), who will jump into Matt Brody's swimsuit.
The action comedy Central Intelligence is another one of those comedies with a comedic cop couple that Hollywood has served up countless times (The Heat, The Other Guys, 21 Jump Street are just the last few). Despite the premise that has been chewed over so many times, it seems that Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart will provide a breath of fresh air and that we will not leave the theaters unsatisfied and with the feeling that we have seen this movie before. Yes, the critics will probably tear him to shreds, but who doesn't want to see the otherwise chiseled Dwayne Johnson as a cute chubby high school kid?
Sometimes it's only a disaster that brings people together, the worst of which is also witnessed in the upcoming disaster movie San Andreas, which is not a fictitious name for the city of Los Angeles and its surroundings, as it is in the computer game GTA, because if you haven't sat on your ears with geography, you know that it is a tectonic fault (Saint Andrew) that runs through California. The central theme is therefore an earthquake that leaves the city in ruins, but at the same time raises the estranged relationship between father and daughter from the ruins.
