Street artist and photographer JR has embarked on a project in Paris that is not only interesting, but also aesthetically inspiring. At a height of 56 meters, he photographed black and white dancers on the roof of the Opera Garnier.

The French street master, nicknamed JR, once again delivers a unique awesomeness. As part of the Art Series 2014 exhibition event, this time he connected with the New York City Ballet (NYCB), where through his recognizable large-format portrait collage technique, he managed to capture a glimpse into the poetry of the lightness of dance.
After receiving the TED Prize in 2011, French artist JR launched the astonishing global project “Inside out”, encouraging people to co-create street art with black and white photographic self-portraits. So far, over 130,000 faces from more than 100 countries have been recorded.
