At the leading tourist exchange World Travel Market (WTM 2016) in London, Bled was declared the best sports place in the world (Sport Tourism Town 2016), in the Global Sport Tourism Impact Award category, which was awarded for the first time this year and is a kind of tourism equivalent of an Oscar for the best film, Slovenia was among the four finalists. At the fair, Slovenia presents itself as a sports and green capital, and this time the ambassadors of our tourist offer are skier Tina Maze and rower Luka Špik.
