Spotlight is a poignant drama that focuses on a team of investigative reporters from The Boston Globe who set out to uncover a scandal in the Roman Catholic Church. Trumbo is a biographical drama about one of the most talented screenwriters of the last 50 years, James Dalton Trumbo. The film was signed by Jay Roach (Austin Powers), born in Albuquerque, so it is only logical that he dedicated the character of the "controversial" screenwriter to Bryan Cranston, who lived in that place as Walter White in the cult series Crooked Path.
