Some people's creative process can take years, while for others it miraculously matures overnight. And this is what happened to German photographer Lucas Zimmermann, who stopped at a traffic light one foggy night and for the first time in his life looked at it from an artistic point of view. Thus was born a beautiful series of traffic light photographs captured on a foggy night in Weimar, Germany.
The life of a ballet dancer is not easy. At first glance, a light and graceful dance hides a lot under ballet slippers. Ballet is a garage "sport" that requires strict discipline and a high pain threshold. The seemingly fragile girls (and boys) who impress with their moves on stage are actually some of the toughest people in the world. Some famous names were captured in the privacy of their homes by photographer Damon Dahlen.

If these types of photos haven't convinced you yet, this selection of the best aerial photos taken with drones in 2016 definitely will.
Paparazzi are one of the most annoying types of people. All celebrities have experienced this first hand. Paparazzi come in a package with fame. Some accept this fact better, others a little worse. Some of them, when they were angry, threw their fists at them, others showed them their middles, still others turned the situation to their advantage and used the "clicking" to send an important message to the world, or they made fun of the photographers in an imaginative way .

Photographer Ricardo Stuckert came across an unusual sight while flying over the Amazon in Brazil. He discovered an Amazonian tribe that had no contact with the outside world and until now no one knew of their existence. Who would have thought that in the 21st century we would ever get an indigenous insight into the Neolithic way of life when spears, arrows and bows ruled! According to Survival International, over 100 intact tribes still live in the world today.
Photographer Benjamin Von Wong is a fan of underwater photography, and for the past year he has been tackling 'boring' topics such as climate change and wildlife conservation with his photographic projects. With their latest project, Mermaids Hate Plastic, they keep this trend going. This time he tackles plastic pollution. If the previous two subjects were much more grateful for the lens, this time too he managed to create fascinating scenes from seemingly unphotogenic subjects. He employed underwater girls and created a sea out of 10,000 bottles – the amount the average American would consume in a lifetime. The project draws attention to the pressing problem of plastic pollution.

Although the experience with Santa Claus is supposed to be pleasant for children, many children quickly change their minds once they sit on his knee and the sparkles in their eyes are replaced by tears in a second. Is there a photo in your family album when the meeting with Santa turned into a nightmare?
If you have already been lucky enough to visit Budapest, then you know that this city is a real European gem. But the city is truly magical only in December, when thousands of lights glow in it, and illuminated trams and trolleybuses whiz past visitors. Photographer Rizsavi Tamás captured all this in his photographic lens and thus showed the world all the festive beauty of the Hungarian capital. Wonderful, isn't it?
