The tree house, located near Lukovica, is the work of Rok Pezdirec. Pezdirc is a young Slovenian architect who believes that the idea of a tree house has been with us since childhood. But he went one step further - he also made a wooden tree house, and it was so good that it was published in the book Cabin Porn. He thus proved that children's dreams can become reality.

The Slovenian-made Itero pocket watch is a representative of a device from another time. If a few decades ago watches were an indispensable accessory, today the same applies to smartphones. And when we do this, we are distracted by various notifications. This is how we get caught up in virtual reality, while time slips through our fingers. Blaž Abe and Luka Šepec, the "culprits" behind Itera, warn that we should not become slaves to technology and forget the preciousness of time, which is why they created a pocket watch for the 21st century.

From Cotton to Lace by Blima and Kapita.s is a Slovenian collection of unique sweaters and t-shirts for autumn and winter 2015/16 with signature lace. Behind the brand stand two friends, whose friendship recently grew into a business collaboration. Both have worked diligently before (separately as Blima and Kapita.s), and as a fashion tandem they made their debut with the aforementioned collection at the Handicrafts Festival in Bled.

Modern house in Cerknica - modern architecture and nature hand in hand

Cerkniško polje is richer for the alluring dominant, a modern house, mainly made of concrete and larch wood, which are mixed in places with white facade panels. It lies on the edge of Cerknica, and from it the view spreads over the Cerknica field, which played a key role in the construction. Javornik and Snežnik peaks are also within sight. Although it is modern, it remains in genuine contact with nature.
