The SEMPL media trends conference will be organized for the eighteenth time this year, and at this turning point, it boasts a new integrated graphic image that puts the strength of this regional brand and its identity in the foreground. Even in its eighteenth edition, which will take place on November 24 and 25, 2016 in Portorož, SEMPL remains committed to discovering the latest trends in the field of media, marketing and communication.

From September 22 to 25, 2016, we will meet the latest media trends in Rovinj. More than 120 speakers and around 4,000 media, marketing and PR experts will take the stage in four days in the premises of the old tobacco factory.
Magazines play a big role in our lives. They serve as a source of information and entertainment. And what the face is to a person, the cover is to magazines. It makes a first impression on the reader and often decides the success of an individual edition. At the same time, covers dictate trends and determine what is "important" at a given moment. Karen X. Cheng and Jerry Gabra therefore took a close look at the covers of many world-famous magazines and created a proper retrospective of their development.
