If you're still not tired of experimenting with the flavors of this drink, try the gin and tonic tea, which would delight you.
You can make the mix for this gin and tonic tea yourself. Simply buy all the ingredients you need at specialty tea and spice shops, mix them, and you've got a base full of the basic flavors of gin (juniper) and the spices we usually use to enhance the cocktail (rose petals, pepper).
After brewing, just "spice up" the tea with a little of your favorite gin and don't forget to invite your friends to try this delicious drink that will warm you up in the cold months.
Ingredients for Gin and Tonic Tea Mix
- 150 g of green tea
- 100 g of dried juniper
- 50 g of dried lemon grass
- 50 g coriander seeds
- 50 g of dried hibiscus
- 50 g of dried rose petals
- 50 g of red pepper seeds
Mix all the ingredients well and store them in a tightly closed jar. From this amount of ingredients, you will get about 500 grams of tea mixture.
Preparation of gin and tonic tea
- 1 liter of water (enough for 4 cups of tea, 2.5 dcl per person)
- 2 tablespoons of tea mixture
- gin as desired
Boil water. When the water boils, add two tablespoons of the mixture. Remove from heat, cover and let steep for 5 to 10 minutes, depending on how strong you want your tea. Then strain the tea, distribute it among the cups and add a little gin.
