At IFA 2017 in Berlin, Panasonic announced the arrival of a new record player, enriched by quite a few enviable features. With the renaissance of the world of vinyl records, even the biggest manufacturers have started to improve the turntables and the range, we have to admit, is very good. Let's see what's waiting for vinyl lovers around the corner.
At the record player Technics SP-10R should be highlighted first superb S/N (signal-to-noise), which amounts to 92 dB, although above 60 dB the average ear no longer perceives a difference. Well, that's why audiophiles are here. A plate that weighs as much as 7 kg, is made of brass, aluminum and tires and as such will ensure extremely stable rotation of the disc. The special feature of the turntable is that it has power supply unit separate from the main body, which affects significantly less noise and vibrations. Coreless direct-drive drive will take care of spinning without any interruptions. The relationship between Wow (speed deviation at low frequency) and flutter (shaking) amounts to only 0.015 percent. Just for comparison, for a good turntable this ratio starts at 0.25 percent.
audiophiles, we will have to wait another year, for the Technics SP-10R to hit the shelves. Until then, it will be necessary to save, but they have not yet released how much it will be necessary to save.
