Technology will (may) raise the dead

Death has been an integral part of our lives since birth, but we still have a hard time getting used to the thought of it. In our culture we fear it, sometimes it is taboo, in others it is viewed completely differently. For years, man has been trying to extend his life, to allow himself better quality late years, sometimes he even tries to outwit nature, but for now, we all, without exception, have an expiration date. But what if modern technology could summon the dead from eternal sleep?

Muhammad Ahmad, a professor in the computer science department at the University of Washington (Tacoma/USA), lost his father in 2013. He says his life was never the same after that. Shortly after his father's death, he began project by The Mushtaq Ahmad Mirza, which he named after his father and is based on the discovery and development of technology that will brought the dead back into our lives through simulation. With all database and smart devices, says Ahmad, can be about We collect and read more than enough data for a person and we can study it so well that we could easily know, How would this person behave in space?, how he would walk, where he would go at a certain moment, and so on. All we need is his or her body. But the body is dead, right?

Will technology really bring the dead back to life soon?
Will technology really bring the dead back to life soon?

With technologies and tools such as machine learning, natural language processing, human-computer interaction, The Turing Test and finally virtual reality, there are good chances of reaching simulated versions of our loved oneswho are no longer with us.

Virtual reality will also help us.
Virtual reality will also help us.

Of course, this creates a lot of questions about consequences. How would this change our lives and relationships? Would we care as much about living people, or would we take it all for granted? Is it perhaps better to let grief be a part of our lives and let nature take its course?
