The second studio album by the American folk musician John Tillman, who is known under the pseudonym Father John Misty, is a more than successful follow-up to the album Fear Fun from 2012. Behind all the layers of irony that the album brings, the biggest irony is surely that it can seemingly such a complex and confusing album hides its real strength in something as mundane and transparent as its author's ability to write a beautiful melody.
