The crystal clear sea, the pebbles and the high walls of the cave, which winds above you, make the experience of swimming at Beta's cave truly irreplaceable.
Beta's cave is a pebbly beach in Dubrovnik, located in a cave between Villa Šeherezad and Gjivovići beach. It got its name from the nickname Bete, which was the name of the great Dubrovnik scientist Marin Getaldić, who conducted various experiments and research in the cave. It can only be reached by sea - the closest is to swim there from Gjivovići beach, but there is also the option of driving with canoes to the cave accompanied by a guide.
Since it is quite inaccessible and small, there should not be many bathers here. If you're lucky, peace and quiet await you, and you'll feel completely at ease disconnected from this world.
