Petja Zorec is a young Slovenian fashion hopeful, who mainly designs sports-inspired men's fashion with an emphasis on the comfort of knitwear, which can and should be worn by female fashionistas as well.
Singing Zorec is a designer who works under the Petja Zorec brand of the same name. As a member of a fashion platform Squat, founded by renowned designers Nataša Peršuh and Zoran Garevski, is part of the new wave of Slovenian fashion designers. The talented designer boldly combines contradictory themes, which is reflected in the surprising and design-expressive ready-to-wear collections that she regularly presents in Slovenia and elsewhere since 2012. Her contrasting collections more than successfully meet the requirements of a modern lifestyle that allows little free time. Petja is one of those who does not pay attention to the specifics of gender and social norms set in advance. Combining traditional textile techniques and technological innovations, her creations reflect the contrasting play between rigor and lightness, comfort and solemnity, calmness and speed.
