Ukrainian artist Alexey Kondakov combined the past and the present in an interesting way. With Photoshop, he teleported characters from famous artistic (mostly Renaissance) paintings into the 21st century and placed them in a modern environment. The Daily Life of Gods is a series of photographs with characters from classic paintings set in a modern setting. An artist Alexey Kondakov were inspired by painter Cesar van Everdingen's paintings, which prompted him to use Photoshop to move the characters from their original environment into a store, on a bus, in a subway, and other parts of the urban environment.
