Although we haven't managed to meet them on our concert floor yet, we can catch the English rock band Deep Purple at least once a year in concert just a stone's throw from our borders. Last year they shone in Belgrade, this year they are coming to Padova, Italy. They will perform in Palafabris on Friday, October 30.
With the sounds of the legendary Deep Purple we pricked our ears since we were children, because then our parents tirelessly pricked them. In the 70s of the last century, they were considered the most sought-after rock band, sharing the title of unholy trio with Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath.
Despite many changes in the line-up, they walked the musical path boldly and courageously, and as pioneers of hard rock and heavy metal, they were extremely successful. Their legacy dates back to 1968, when they racked up musical mileage until 1976 and went silent for a short time until 1984. Since then, their treasury has accumulated excellent musical products such as Perfect Strangers, Slaves and Masters, Abandonment, Rapture of the Deep and others. The last full-fledged product Now What?!, which can be lit with all 11 tracks on the way to Padua, where five old cats will swing their musical weapons in the embrace of crimson purple at the end of October.
