On the forty-fifth anniversary of the founding of the legendary band The Doors, which inspired several generations of good rock lovers with their music, The Doors Alive is coming to Ljubljana as a tribute band. The Doors Alive play rhythmically infectious melodies with hypnotic organ sound, rough blues guitar, regular, simplistic rhythmic patterns and recite Jim Morrison's poetry in a baritone voice. Singer Willie masters the voice and look of the extraordinary Jim Morrison in the later period of the band's career. The members of The Doors Alive use the same instruments as the real Doors back in the day, including vintage Fender Rhodes Basses, Vox Continental keyboards and Gibson SG guitars, to achieve an original and authentic 60s sound.
