Easy Homemade Dog Biscuits
Ingredients
- 250 g wholemeal flour
- 100 g oatmeal
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons sugar-free and salt-free peanut butter
- 60 ml water (add more if necessary)
Directions
- Prepare the dough: Preheat the oven to 180 °C. In a large bowl, mix the wholemeal flour and oatmeal.
- Add the wet ingredients: In a separate bowl, mash the banana. Add the egg, peanut butter, and mix well.
- To combine: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until you have a compact dough. If the mixture is too stiff, add a few tablespoons of water.
- Shape the cookies: Roll out the dough to about 1 cm thick and cut out shapes with a cookie cutter. Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- Baking: Bake for 15–20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Cooling: Cool the cookies and store them in a sealed container.
