Ingredients

  • 350 g of fresh strawberries
  • ½ cup powdered sugar

Directions

  1. Wash, stem and slice the strawberries. Blend with powdered sugar until smooth. Spread about half of the fruit puree over the bottom of four serving glasses.
  2. Stir the rest of the puree into the whipped sweet cream.
  3. Mix by hand, slowly, until you get a uniform, airy mass. Then pour this cream onto the previously prepared fruit layer.
  4. Add a whole strawberry and a mint leaf if desired.

It is recommended to chill the strawberry mousse for at least 30 minutes before serving. It will remain stable in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.

For optimal results, use chilled cream with at least 30% milk fat. The berries should be ripe but firm, as too watery will affect the consistency.
