The first 3D printed smart lamp

The first 3D printed objects for your home are already appearing on the market. Philips has introduced a futuristic lamp that you can control using an app.

Lamp will be available in two forms namely Entity – table standing lamp, and Temepest – in the form of a pendant. Users will be able to create different lighting effects in multiple angles 16 million color variations. It will also be possible to program the lamp for a certain time of day and according to personal preferences. This will be made possible by a special Hue bulb technology.

However, the price of the lamps will be quite hefty. For a larger Entity, you will have to deduct 3,200 euros and for the smaller Tempest 3,000 euros. The products are available for pre-order on the official website Meethue.
