This is not a futuristic gun that independently fires or locates a target. However, it will render it unusable if it falls into the wrong hands. The Armtix iP1 is a .22 caliber pistol that works with the included iW1 wristwatch.
When the gun Armtix iP1 detects the clock iW1 within a radius of up to 25 centimeters, the green light turns on and enables shooting. Otherwise, the red light is on and the gun remains inactive. This concept of advanced technology hints at a safer use of firearms in the future. Since it only works in the hands of trained shooters or owners who will be wearing the wristwatch, many tragic situations of gun misuse could be prevented.
The Armtix iP1 is available for 1,000 euros, and the iW1 waterproof watch for 300 euros.
