Electric cars are becoming more and more popular and are slowly but steadily displacing conventionally powered vehicles. A meeting of owners of alternative drive vehicles was recently organized in the Netherlands and so many gathered that they entered the Guinness Book of Records.
It recently gathered in the Netherlands a record number of electric vehicles. At the parade on the A270, the vehicles of the brands were at the forefront Tesla, BMW, Volkswagen, Nissan and Renault, but not even a vehicle was missing solar powered, also not electric bikes, electric buses and trucks and a "fleet" of Segways.

Choir or procession on a 3.6-kilometer stretch of road in Brabant, a province in the south of the Netherlands, which was attended by 746 vehicles with alternative drive, was organized by a Rotarian Eindhoven Eeckaerde. Before that, the record was held by the choir in Berlin from May 2015, which was attended by 577 electric vehicles. The organizer will donate the collected money to socially disadvantaged children.
